Pleasant Grove, UT, United States (4E) – Police in Pleasant Grove, Utah arrested Sunday a 39-year-old woman suspected of killing six babies, whose bodies were found inside cardboard boxes at the garage of her ex-husband’s home.

Megan Huntsman, 39, is believed to be the mother of the babies and that she may have killed them from 1996 to 2006. The bodies were discovered Saturday when the ex-husband, whose name was withheld, was cleaning the garage.

Police who were called to the home said the body belongs to a newborn and they sought a search warrant, which led to the discovery of the other dead babies inside cardboard boxes in the garage.

Huntsman no longer lives in the house since moving out in 2011. She currently lives in West Valley City, according to police.

A DNA test is being conducted to determine if the husband is the father of the dead babies. However, he is not being charged in the case.

Two neighbors who encountered Huntsman while she was living in the said home described her as a good woman. Huntsman has no criminal records.
