David Lough helps Orioles edge Blue Jays in 12 innings

Baltimore, MD, United States (4E Sports) – David Lough’s RBI in the 12th inning pushed the Baltimore Orioles past the Toronto Blue Jays, 2-1 Saturday at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

The Orioles forged a 1-0 advantage in the seventh after an RBI by Jonathan Schoop against Neil Wagner had Lough getting the run.

Colby Rasmus hit a solo homer off Tommy Hunter on the ninth, driving a 98 mph fastball into the right-field seats, to tie the game the game for the Blue Jays.

In the 12th, Stephen Lombardozzi hit a one-out drive to center off Todd Redmond (0-1).

That was before Lough’s RBI had Lombardozzi crossing the plate to give the Orioles the win.

Zach Britton (2-0) had two hitless innings while Evan Meek protected the lead in the eighth for the Orioles.

Jays’ Drew Hutchison gave up four hits over six innings, walking two and striking out five.
