Miami, FL, United States (4E Sports) – San Francisco 49ers’ Colin Kaepernick and Quinton Patton and Seattle Seahawks’ Ricardo Lockette are being investigated by Miami police for an incident earlier this month at a Miami hotel.

Police would not describe what they are looking into while no arrests and charges have been made.

TMZ.com reported earlier that Kaepernick is being investigated for an alleged sexual assault, but Miami Police told Mercury News that the website “took the report out of context.”

According to an incident report filed with Miami police Friday, an unnamed woman said she spent time with the three players April 1 at the Viceroy in downtown Miami. They allegedly drank and smoked marijuana in Lockette’s apartment and the woman eventually ending up in a bedroom with Kaepernick.

The woman and Kaepernick reportedly undressed but did not have sex. Kaepernick eventually left the room and Patton and Lockette later opened the door and “peeked” into the room. They left after the woman told them to get out.

The 49ers and the Seahawks have announced that they are aware of the situation.
