Philadelphia, PA, United States (4E Sports) – Ryan Braun had three homers and seven RBIs to carry the Milwaukee Brewers past the Philadelphia Phillies, 10-4 Tuesday at Citizens Bank Park.
With the score tied at 1-all entering the third, Braun’s three-run home run off Phillies starter Kyle Kendrick gave the Brewers a 4-1 lead. Scooter Gennett’s RBI made it 5-1 for the Brewers.
In the fourth inning, Braun hit out a homer to right-center field for a 6-1 advantage.
Jimmy Rollins had RBI’s in the fourth and sixth while Cody Ashe singled to center in the fifth to cut the Phillies deficit to 6-4.
Ben Revere then committed an error chasing Mark Reynolds’ deep fly ball that allowed Khris Davis to score and make it 7-4.
Braun hit against Phillies reliever Brad Lincoln to 388 feet to the left-center-field seats for another three-run shot.
Brewers starter Kyle Lohse threw 107 pitches in five innings, allowing three runs on seven hits and five walks.
Phillies’ Kendrick allowed six runs — four earned — and nine hits in five innings.
