CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. has announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week.
Shaw identified the fugitive as Jeremy John Kromer, 33, of Kromer Road, DuBois. Kromer is wanted for failure to appear at pre-trial conferences on March 27.
On Sept. 10, 2013, Trooper Michael Pisarchick of the Pennsylvania State Police, Auto Theft Unit, filed a criminal complaint against Kromer. He charged Kromer with receiving stolen property, F2; receiving stolen property, F3, two counts; and receiving stolen property, M1.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, the Pennsylvania State Police received information that Kromer was in possession of a stolen cargo trailer and two stolen chainsaws. These items were allegedly located on the property of Kromer’s father on Kromer Road in DuBois.
A search of the property resulted in the location of two stolen trailers, two stolen chainsaws and two stolen firearms. Upon investigation it was found that Kromer had been in possession of the stolen items that had been located on the property. The stolen items were valued at approximately $24,250.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Oct. 11, 2013, at which time all charges were held for court. On March 27, Kromer failed to appear for pre-trial conferences and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Kromer is described as a Caucasian male who stands 6 feet, 1-inch tall. He has blue eyes and brown hair.
