Taylor Hall leads Oilers offense in ripping Ducks

Edmonton, AB, Canada (4E Sports) – Taylor Hall had a goal and two assists to lead the Edmonton Oilers in beating the Anaheim Ducks, 4-2 Sunday at Rexall Place.

The Ducks took a 1-0 lead at 1:20 of the first after Jakob Silfverberg’s shot caromed off of teammate Sam Gagner into the net.

Hall banked a puck in off Hiller in a power play with a shot from the side of the net to tie the game six minutes into the second.

David Perron scored three minutes later for the Oilers, beating Hiller with an off-balance shot from the right circle.

The Oilers (28-42-9) took a 3-1 lead after Justin Schultz tapped in a loose puck.

The Ducks (50-20-8) cut the lead to 3-2 just 25 seconds into the third period after Corey Perry tipped in Ryan Getzlaf’s long wrist shot in a power play.

Jordan Eberle scored the insurance goal for the Oilers on an empty-net at 19:46 of the third.

Viktor Fasth made 34 saves for the Oilers as Jonas Hiller made 27 for the Ducks.
