State Police Investigate Alleged Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats Incident

COALPORT – The Clearfield-based state police have initiated an investigation into an alleged incident of simple assault and terroristic threats that occurred Saturday at the Coalport Moose Lodge.

The victim’s brother, state police said, was involved in an argument with a known Coalport male. The victim attempted to separate them, at which point the male allegedly pulled out a small caliber pistol from his pocket.

The male allegedly pointed the pistol at the victim and threatened to shoot her, state police said. The male was escorted from the establishment by several patrons.

Charges are currently pending at this time.
