Milwaukee, WI, United States (4E Sports) – Greivis Vasquez top scored with 26 as the Toronto Raptors surged past the Milwaukee Bucks, 102-98 Saturday at BMO Harris Bradley Center.
DeMar DeRozan had 23 points, with 15 in the fourth quarter, for the win.
The Raptors led 28-22 after the first period but the Bucks had an 18-4 run to start the second for a 40-38 lead at 7:24 of the second.
A Raptors rally capped by two 3-pointers from Terrence Ross and Vasquez allowed them to reclaim the lead at 47-46.
The Bucks scored 10 unanswered points to end the second for a 56-47 halftime lead.
The Raptors started the third with a 13-2 blast with Vasquez scoring eight to grab a 60-58 advantage.
It was back-and-forth for the rest of the quarter with the Bucks taking a 76-75 lead before the fourth.
There were nine lead changes in the fourth quarter, but Vasquez hit a 3-pointer to give Toronto the lead for good at 86-84 with 5:24 left.
The Bucks pulled within 89-88, but DeRozan and Jonas Valanciunas combined for five points for a 94-88 lead with 1:43 to go.
DeRozan made six free throws in the final 24 seconds to seal the victory.
John Henson had 23 points, nine boards, six assists, three blocks and a steal to lead the Bucks. Jeff Adrien and Ramon Sessions contributed added double-doubles.
