Ottawa, ON, Canada (4E Sports) – Milan Michalek and Kyle Turris had two goals apiece to lead Ottawa Senators over the Calgary Flames, 6-3 Sunday at Canadian Tire Centre.
Michalek opened the scoring by redirecting a point shot from Erik Karlsson past Karri Ramo at 10:42.
After Matt Stajan tied it, Michalek made the most of a great assist by Jason Spezza and put the Senators (31-29-14) in front again at 2-1.
Paul Byron tied it at 2 when he corralled a rebound in the slot and put a shot into the top corner four minutes into the second.
The Flames (31-37-7) then took the lead when Sean Monahan shot over Robin Lehner’s left shoulder at 7:05.
Kyle Turris scored via a Clarke MacArthur assist at 16:47 of the second to make it 3-all.
Jared Cowen made a wrist shot 1:12 into the third period, and Clarke MacArthur made it 5-3 for the Senators with a tip-in at 12:22.
Kyle Turris netted his second goal of the game to make it 6-3.
Lehner made 37 saves for the Senators while Ramo had 31 for the Flames.
