South Bend, IN, United States (4E Sports) – Notre Dame’s offensive lineman Christian Lombard and wide receiver Will Mahone will miss the rest of spring practice due to recent surgery, according to head coach Brian Kelly.

Lombard, a redshirt senior, underwent surgery on a dislocated right wrist.

He started the first seven games at right guard last season before back surgery for a herniated disk.

Conor Hanratty figures to receive the majority of reps with the first-team offensive line in Lombard’s place.

Meanwhile, Mahone had a fractured right foot fixed on March 6.

The redshirt sophomore was originally a running back but switched to receiver last season.
