Atlanta, GA, United States (4E Sports) – Paul Millsap had 19 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists to lift the Atlanta Hawks over the Toronto Raptors, 118-113 Tuesday at Philips Arena.
Jeff Teague top scored with 34 while Kyle Korver added 16 points in the win.
The Hawks made just six of their first 24 attempts as they fell behind 22-9 of the opening period.
Teague scored 12 in the second quarter as the Hawks enjoyed a 49-44 lead.
The Raptors ended the period with a 5-0 blast to tie the game 49-all at halftime.
Neither team could break away in the third as the margin was never more than four points, with 10 lead changes in the final period.
The Hawks went ahead for good 111-109 with 2:37 left in overtime after DeMarre Carroll’s layup.
DeMar DeRozan led the Raptors with 29 points and 10 rebounds while Kyle Lowry chipped in with 20 points.
