Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Savannah Guthrie and her fiance Mike Feldman have tied the knot over the weekend, and are expecting their first child together, the “Today” host announced Monday.
“I got married this weekend,” the svelte reporter said after co-anchor asked about her weekend. She added, “It was beautiful…everything I could have dreamed.”
The newlyweds exchanged vows in an intimate gathering in Guthrie’s hometown Tucson, Arizona, witnessed by close friends and family, and some of her “Today” fellows Matt Lauer, Al Roker, Hoda Kotb and Willie Geist. The bride’s brother Cameron walked her down the aisle.
Meanwhile, to add to the happy news, the man and wife announced during their wedding reception that they are expecting a child. On Monday’s “Today” show, the mom-to-be said, “We dropped a little bit of news at our wedding. We are four months pregnant.
She added, “We are so excited, overjoyed and we feel so blessed,” adding that she found out about the baby after setting the wedding date and buying her dress. “I was praying that I would fit in it, and it all worked out,” she said.
According to Guthrie, the baby will come in late summer.
Guthrie, 42, and Feldman, 45, have gotten engaged in May last year after dating for four years.
