Las Vegas, NV, United States (4E Sports) – Kyle Anderson had 21 points, 15 boards and five assists in leading the UCLA Bruins upset No. 4 Arizona Wildcats, 75-71 Saturday at MGM Grand to win the Pac-12 championship.

Jordan Adams had 19 points, including a big 3-pointer with 45 seconds left, while Norman Powell scored 15 points.

UCLA (26-8) used a 12-0 run to go up 14-3.

But Gabe York’s 3-pointer ignited Arizona’s own 12-0 blast to cut UCLA’s lead to 33-32.

UCLA led 43-40 at halftime.

A give-and-take second half followed that featured six lead changes and six ties, the last at 68-all with 3:57 left.

The teams were struck in that tie for over three minutes until Adams made the pivotal 3-point jumper to give UCLA a 71-68 advantage with 43 seconds left.

In the ensuing plays, Aaron Gordon, Nick Johnson and York each missed 3-pointers for Arizona.

That allowed David Wear to give UCLA a more comforable 73-68 lead with two free throws and just five seconds left.

Johnson finally nailed a 3-pointer with two seconds left, but time ran out for Arizona as Powell converted two more free throws for UCLA.

Nick Johnson led Arizona (30-40) with 22 points.

Aaron Gordon had 11 points, eight rebounds and eight assists and Kaleb Tarczewski added 12 points in the losing effort that may have cost them the No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.
