Toronto, ON, Canada (4E Sports) – Kyle Lowry had 22 points, 12 assists and seven boards to lead the Toronto Raptors over the Memphis Grizzlies, 99-86 Friday at Air Canada Centre.
Jonas Valanciunas had 23 points, Greivis Vasquez scored 17, DeMar DeRozan pumped in 16 and Amir Johnson added 12 for the win.
Zach Randolph scored his first 10 points in giving the Grizzlies a 24-19 lead after the first period.
Vasquez scored 12 points in the second and a buzzer-beating dunk from Valanciunas gave the Raptors a 47-44 halftime lead.
Lowry had eight points in the third while Terrence Ross added seven as the Raptors took a 71-67 lead into the fourth.
A jumper and two free throws by Marc Gasol gave the Grizzlies a 79-78 lead 7:24 remaining.
With the game tied at 80 with 6:05 left, Vasquez hit a 3-pointer that ignited a 16-2 Raptors blast for a 96-82 lead that clinched the win.
Randolph scored 16 and Courtney Lee had 12 to lead the Grizzlies.
