Florham Park, NJ, United States (4E Sports) – Eric Decker has agreed to a five-year deal worth $36.25 million, including $15 million guaranteed, with the New York Jets, Wednesday.

“Unfortunately, I never got an offer from the Broncos,” revealed Decker, who spent Wednesday meeting with Jets officials in Florham Park.

Decker, 26, had 11 touchdowns this past season to go with 13 in 2012 and is considered by many the top free agent at his position.

He is coming off back-to-back, 1,000-yard seasons. He recorded career highs last season with 87 receptions and 1,288 yards, contributing to the most prolific passing offense in league history.

But some scouts believe his numbers were a product of playing with Peyton Manning.

His potential to be successful as a No. 1 receiver was questioned after being a non-factor against the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII.
