Lincoln, NE, United States (4E Sports) – No one was reported injured when an enclosed tennis court collapsed Thursday at Ethel S. Abbott Sports Complex.

According to several Abbott staff, no one was on the court at the time of the collapse.

An unnamed employee said she heard a loud pop, thought someone dropped heavy weights but then realized the bubble was collapsing.

Then, she ran over, looked inside and yelled to see if anyone was inside. “This is extremely scary for me,” she said.

The complex has indoor and outdoor soccer fields, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts and a motocross track.

According to Abbott’s website, the last scheduled morning activity ended at 12:30 p.m.
