PAC-12 tourney: Utah holds off late rally to edge Washington

Las Veags, NV, United States (4E Sports) – Delon Wright scored 15 and grabbed seven boards to lead the Utah Utes over the Washington Huskies, 67-61 Wednesday in the first round of the Pac-12 tournament at MGM Grand.

Jordan Loveridge added 13 for the win.

Utah (21-10) quickly built a 10-point lead with a 9-0 run and led 34-24 at halftime. Washington (17-15) rallied in the second half to tie the game at 60 with 1:08 remaining.

Dakarai Tucker put the Utes ahead 63-60 on a 3-pointer from the corner with 37 seconds left and Brandon Taylor hit two free throws to finish off Washington.

Darin Johnson had 16 points, Nigel Williams-Goss 15 and C.J. Wilcox added 14 for the Huskies.
