Oakland, CA, United States (4E Sports) – Andrew Bogut had 15 points and 10 rebounds as the Golden State Warriors routed the Dallas Mavericks, 108-85 on Tuesday at Oracle Arena.
Jordan Crawford top scored for the Warriors with 19 while Klay Thompson added 14 points.
Behind 16-8 midway in the first quarter, the Warriors rallied with a 21-6 run capped by Draymond Green’s 3-pointer and Crawford’s jumper to take a 29-22 lead.
In the second, Crawford scored 12 points to lead the Warriors’ offense as they took a 55-44 lead at halftime.
The Warriors’ defense dominated the Mavs in the third quarter for an 81-57 advantage at 11:29 of the fourth.
The Mavs then outscored the Warriors 12-3 in the next 3:31 to cut the lead to 84-69.
The Warriors doused the rally with a 9-3 blast capped by a Stephen Curry 3-pointer to bring the lead back to 93-72.
The Mavs weren’t finished as Brandan Wright’s free throws with 4:09 left ignited an 8-0 run to whittle down the lead at 93-80 with 2:39 remaining.
But the Mavs couldn’t stop the Warriors from retaliating as Crawford hit a 3-pointer followed by two 3-pointers from Steve Blake in a 15-5 run to end the game.
Monta Ellis scored 15 to lead the Mavs.
