Clearfield Teen Killed in Greenwood Twp. Accident

GREENWOOD TOWNSHIP – A fatal accident claimed the life of a Clearfield teenager who was involved in a two-vehicle accident Sunday morning on Route 219 near Lee Run Road in Greenwood Township, reported the state police at Clearfield.

The teenager was identified as Adrienne J. Stucke, 19, of Clearfield; Stucke was pronounced dead at the scene. Also, Jefferson D. Thomas, 22, of Curwensville sustained major injuries and was flown to Altoona.

Stucke was traveling southbound when she lost control on an icy patch of roadway. Her Mazda 6 traveled across the roadway and into the path of a pick-up truck operated by Brent A. Conklin of Curwensville.

Conklin’s truck subsequently struck the passenger’s side of the Stucke vehicle. Conklin sustained minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to the DuBois Regional Medical Center.

Both Stucke and Thomas and Conklin were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
