DUBOIS – The Clear-Penn Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) met Feb. 11 at the DuBois Business College.
A short business meeting was held about topics of upcoming fundraising ideas and future meetings, including the Administrative Professionals Day Dinner.
The program on “Business Etiquette” was presented by Shannon Rearick, a member of Clear-Penn Chapter from DuBois Business College.
The next meeting will be at 6 p.m. March 11 at the DuBois Business College. The Program will be “Understanding the Administrative Professional’s Changing Role in the Workplace,” presented by Missy Billotte.
This will be a program for anyone who works in as an administrative assistant. Guests are also welcome to attend the meeting.

The reservation deadline is 12 p.m. March 7. The cost is $10, which includes dinner.
Also, April 20-26 is Administrative Professionals Week. A special dinner will be held, April 23, Administrative Professionals Day, at the DuBois Campus of Penn State.
Carol Lundgren, CAP/OM, will present information on the Benefits of Membership in IAAP. The program will be “Leading with Emotional Intelligence: Everything Good Comes from It,” presented by Shelly Luchini.
Reservations are necessary and can be made by calling Rachel at 814-371-6920 by April 16. The cost for the evening is $15.
Getting involved with IAAP activities provides an opportunity to develop professional and personal skills of leadership, public speaking, meeting planning and networking. All office professionals are welcome to attend any meeting.
