CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. has announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week.

Shaw identified the fugitive as Shae Austin Delgrosso, 20, of Smith Street, Clearfield. Delgrosso is wanted in two, separate cases for failure to appear at preliminary hearings on Jan. 22.

On Nov. 20, 2013, Patrolman Nathan Curry of the Clearfield Borough police filed a criminal complaint against Delgrosso. He charged Delgrosso with theft from a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property and criminal conspiracy.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, on Oct. 31, 2013, the Clearfield Borough police received a report about a theft from a motor vehicle that was located on West Sixth Avenue. Upon investigation it was found that Delgrosso and two other individuals had unlawfully entered the victim’s vehicle and removed items valued at approximately $289.

A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Jan. 22, at which time Delgrosso failed to appear and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

In a separate case, Curry filed a criminal complaint against Delgrosso on Nov. 20, 2013. He charged him with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, on Nov. 1, 2013, the Clearfield Borough police received a report about a theft at a residence located on Cemetery Road. Upon investigation it was found that Delgrosso had unlawfully taken items valued at approximately $218 from the victim’s residence.

A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Jan. 22, at which time Delgrosso failed to appear and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Delgrosso is described as a Caucasian male who stands 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He has blue eyes and blonde hair.
