Toronto, ON, Canada (4E Sports) – DeMar DeRozan scored 32 to lead the Toronto Raptors past the Golden State Warriors, 104-98 Sunday at Air Canada Centre.
Kyle Lowry added 13 points, Greivis Vasquez and Patrick Patterson each scored 12 and Jonas Valanciunas had 10 points for the Raptors.
Curry and David Lee each had 10 points as the Warriors led 28-25 after one quarter.
DeRozan and Greivis Vasquez each scored 10 points in the second as the Raptors led 55-50 to start the third.
A 14-point explosion by Curry in the third allowed the Warriors to carry a 78-75 edge into the final quarter.
But the Raptors had a 14-2 run with including 3-pointers from DeRozan and Patterson to take a 92-86 lead with 5:58 left in the game.
After a jump shot by Andre Iguodala, Curry scored his first points of the fourth on a layup. DeRozan answered with a layup at the other end, but Thompson hit a 3 with 3:35 left to bring the Warriors within 97-95.
The Raptors outscored the Warriors, 7-2, in the last 2:31 as Curry committed two turnovers to take the win.
Curry scored 34 to lead the Warriors but had six turnovers, four of them in a costly fourth quarter. David Lee added 20 points and 11 rebounds, Klay Thompson scored 12 points and Harrison Barnes had 11 points.
