Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Madame Tussauds has unveiled actress Anne Hathaway’s wax figure on Thursday in a ceremony held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Hathaway’s new wax figure looked ravishing and ready for the red carpet wearing a black satin figure-flattering gown and elegant back clutch. Her silken skin was accentuated by sparkling diamond jewelry.

The figure has a striking and lifelike resemblance to the Les Miserables star, though the figure’s hair was kept long and pinned back, contrary to Hathaway’s current pixie do.

The 31-year-old Oscars winner’s wax figure, which was said to have been made by 20 artists with a budget of $300,000, is only the second of the 12 wax figures that Madame Tussauds is set to unveil this year.

Hathaway joins the line of A-list stars who have been immortalized in wax including Johnny Depp, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman among many others.

Meanwhile, Hathaway, who has been out of the limelight this year, will be making her comeback as a presenter at the 86th Annual Academy Awards to be held on March 2 at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center.
