Miami Heat, FL, United States (4E Sports) – Miami Heat superstar LeBron James suffered a broken nose as a result of the hit he got from Oklahoma City Thunder’s Serge Ibaka in Thursday’s game, an X-ray revealed.

The Heat will wait for James’ swelling to go down before deciding on treatment.

He may also need a mask if the Heat decides to field him in their home game Sunday against the Chicago Bulls.

James suffered the injury in the fourth quarter when he drove to the basket.

He bled on the floor and stayed down for several minutes before going to the locker room.

James, who scored a game-high 33 points in the Heat’s 103-81 win, had rolls of gauze stuffed up both nostrils with white towels covering his face.

He did not return to the game and did not speak to reporters.
