WJAC-TV: Accident Shuts Down I-80 in Clearfield County

CLEARFIELD COUNTY – Forty tractor-trailers and 10 passenger cars are involved in an accident on Interstate 80 near the Woodland exit, according to Fire Chief Chad Baughman.

At this time, emergency crews are assessing passenger injuries. Officials at Clearfield Hospital reported that they are expecting three to four patients, and there isn’t any word on the severity of injuries.

A spokesperson for Fullington Trailways reported the bus company will be dispatching a bus to the scene. They will be keeping passengers and emergency officials warm on the bus.

The roadway is closed from near the Woodland exit (123) to the Kylertown exit (133). Motorists are advised to use the Blue Detour.
