Kyle Anderson’s double-double fuels UCLA past Colorado

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E Sports) – Kyle Anderson had 22 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds to lead UCLA over Colorado, 92-74, Thursday at Pauley Pavilion.

UCLA also got a boost from Bryce Alford, who scored 12 of his 14 points in the second half on four 3-pointers, Jordan Adams, who had 17 points and seven rebounds, and Travis Wear, who shot 6 of 6 for 13 points.

Travis Wear scored six points in the first 3:23 of the game as UCLA (19-5, 8-3 Pac-12) took an 11-3 lead.

But Colorado’s John Scott scored nine points during a 28-8 as the Buffs overtook UCLA 33-21.

A 9-0 UCLA blast cut Colorado’s lead to 36-34.

A dunk by John Scott restored Colorado’s advantage to 40-36 at the half.

An 18-5 sparked by Alford’s three 3-pointers gave the Bruins a 68-58 lead with 10:21 remaining, and they took over from there.

Scott led Colorado (18-7, 7-5) with 20 points, Askia Booker added 16 points and 12 assists and Xavier Johnson had 14 points and nine rebounds.
