State police at Clearfield
- Minor injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident that occurred Monday on the Krebs Highway in Boggs Township. Carole Posanskey of Madera was traveling southbound and negotiating a right-hand curve in the roadway. She lost control of her vehicle and left the roadway, striking an embankment. Her vehicle then overturned and came to a final rest on its roof. Posanskey was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a disabled vehicle that has been parked in a business’ lot for several days. Further, police assisted the business with contacting the owner.
- Police received a report about an erratic driver on state Route 153/SR 879. Upon locating the vehicle, police issued a written warning to the driver. Also, a female was taken into custody on a warrant.
- Police received a report about a traffic hazard on Mill Road. Further, police notified the appropriate authority.
- Police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred at the high school.
- Police received a report about a possible scam. Further, an individual received a call that he’d won a trip to Florida in a sweepstakes that was held during the Groundhog Wine Festival. The caller subsequently attempted to obtain his credit card information. When the individual refused, the caller disconnected.
- Police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred along Park Avenue Extension.
- Police received a report about an adult male who is missing from Patton Street.
- Police received a report about a theft that occurred along Legion Road.
DuBois City
- Police received a report about a domestic dispute Tuesday in the first block of North Brady Street. Further, a man and his girlfriend engaged in an argument over him speaking to another woman on the phone. No physical altercation occurred during the incident.
- Police received a report about a domestic dispute Wednesday in the first block of East Long Avenue. Further, a man and his girlfriend engaged in an argument over her being out all night. No physical altercation occurred during the incident.
- On Wednesday, an onlooker apprehended a DuBois man who was entering vehicles. Police arrived and arrested the man. He was found in possession of stolen items, as well as a small amount of marijuana and other medications.
- On Thursday, police initiated an investigation into the theft of a laptop that occurred in the first block of Beaver Drive.
