Portland, OR, United States (4E Sports) – LaMarcus Aldridge scored 21 to lift the Portland Trail Blazers to a 115-104 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves Saturday at Moda Center.
Nicolas Batum started the Blazers charge with 11 points and five rebounds but Kevin Love had 10 points as the Wolves took a 29-27 lead at the ned of the first quarter.
Mo Williams then scored 10 points as the Blazers took off on a 16-4 run to take a 43-33 lead with 8:53 left in the second.
Portland led 65-57 at the break.
The Wolves pulled ahead when Martin’s 3-pointer made it 79-78 with 3:50 left in the third, but the Blazers finished out out the quarter on an 8-2 run to lead 87-81.
The Blazers started the fourth with an 18-7 run to take a 105-88 advantage and the Wolves never recovered.
Kevin Martin led the Timberwolves with 30 points, while Love finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds.
