Speed Limit Restored on I-80 in Centre and Clinton Counties

CLEARFIELD – PennDOT has lifted the speed limit restriction that was in place on Interstate 80 in Centre and Clinton counties.

Due to the winter storm impacting the region, speed limits were reduced earlier today to 45 miles per hour on I-80 through those counties. As of 3:10 p.m. today, the roadway was restored to its usual posted limit of 65 miles per hour.

PennDOT is continuing to treat roadways in the area and will continue until roads are clear.
