"Shipping Wars" star Roy Garber passes away at 49

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – “Shipping Wars” Roy Garber has passed away at the age of 49 on Friday night due to a heart attack.

According to TMZ, Garber’s girlfriend confirmed the death, saying the reality star, who had a heart condition, was rushed to a Texas hospital due to a heart attack and dies shortly after.

On Saturday, “Shipping Wars” official Facebook page expressed its condolences stating, “We are deeply saddened by the loss of a member of the A&E family. Our thoughts are with Roy’s loved ones during this difficult time. He will be missed.”

Garber has been part of the A&E series since its premiere in January 2012. The show, now on its fifth season, just finished its 12-episode run earlier this week.

Meanwhile, Garber is survived by family and friends, his longtime girlfriend, and son Travis.
