Chicago, IL, United States (4E Sports) – Marian Hossa scored two goals, and Kris Versteeg and Bryan Bickell added a goal each to lift the Chicago Blackhawks over the Anaheim Ducks 4-2 at United Center.
Hossa opened the scoring with a short-handed goal at 10:34.
Versteeg made it 2-0 with 2:54 left in the period after outhustling two Ducks player for a loose puck.
Bickell made it 3-0 at 10:13 of the third.
The Ducks’ Ryan Getzlaf then scored on a wrist shot to cap an odd-man break with 6:13 left in the third.
Then Kyle Palmieri connected on a 40-foot shot 53 seconds later to make it 3-2.
Hossa scored into an empty net with 7.6 seconds left.
Hawks’ Corey Crawford made 19 saves.
Meanwhile, his Ducks counterpart Jonas Hiller made 31 saves but saw 14-game winning streak end. That run tied him for second-longest in NHL history with four other goalies.
The Hawks outshot the Ducks 35-21.
