Dallas, TX, United States (NewsBahn) – Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, who has been fined nearly $2 million for various transgressions over his 14 years, says he wants to get docked once more before NBA commissioner David Stern leaves his post.

“We talk about it all the time,” Cuban said according to ESPN. “I’m going to have one final fine before he leaves.”

Stern responded in a light-hearted way to Cuban’s threat to get docked again.

“I know he is trying, but our muffin fund coffers are overflowing,” Stern said.

Cuban’s largest fine was $500K for once declaring an NBA referee wasn’t fit to manage a Dairy Queen.

A year ago he opened his wallet for $50K after tweeting: “Im sorry NBA fans. Ive tried for 13 years to fix the officiating in this league and I have failed miserably. Any Suggestions ? I need help.”
