Sacramento, CA, United States (4E Sports) – Isaiah Thomas scored 26 to lead the Sacramento Kings in a 124-80 thrashing of the Cleveland Cavaliers Sunday at Sleep Train Arena.
The 44-point victory margin was the largest in the NBA this season.
Other members of the Kings’ Big 3, DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay, also made huge contributions.
Cousins finished with 16 points, 11 rebounds and two blocked shots as Gay scored 20.
Gay and Thomas both scored 11 first-half points to give the Kings a 59-50 lead at the half.
The Kings expanded their lead in the third quarter by scoring 16 unanswered points in building an 86-58 lead.
In the fourth, Thomas and Travis Outlaw made two 3-pointers each as Ben McLemore and Derick Williams each had a 3-pointer in a 19-4 run that gave the Kings their biggest advantage of 46 points at 116-70 with 3:40 left in the game.
C.J. Miles had 14 points and Luol Deng added 12 to lead the Cavs.
