Philadelphia, PA, United States (4E Sports) – Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson lost about $400,000 worth of cash and goods to robbers who broke into his home recently.
According to a news report, it was unclear when the robbery happened but it was discovered when Jackson’s mother went upstairs Saturday morning.
A safe was taken and two others were cracked open. The burglars carted away $250,000 worth of cash, $125,000 in jewelry, and two semi-automatic handguns.
Jackson apparently was not in town when the house was robbed. He has been in Miami since the Eagles season ended. There was no sign of forced entry.
The burglars took advantage of Jackson’s vacation. An avid social media user, Jackson has been posting pictures of him enjoying South Florida after the Eagles’ season ended with a loss to the New Orleans Saints, 26-24, in the Wild Card Playoff Game.
