Portion of I-80 Westbound Closed in Centre and Clearfield Counties

CLEARFIELD – PennDOT advises drivers that a portion of Interstate 80 westbound is closed in Centre and Clearfield counties due to an accident. The closure is in effect from Exit 147 (Snow Shoe) to Exit 133 (Kylertown/Philipsburg).

Traffic is being routed using the Orange Detour. Vehicles will exit I-80 westbound at the 147/Snow Shoe interchange and follow Route 144 west to Route 53 south and back to I-80 at the /Kylertown-Philipsburg interchange.

Motorists will be alerted to the incident through the use of the Highway Advisory Radio System and Dynamic Message System signs.

PennDOT expects to re-open the roadway by noon.
