Scott Clemmensen stops 21 shots as Panthers rip Canadiens

Sunrise, FL, United States (4E Sports) – Scott Clemmensen stopped 21 shots as Brian Campbell, Aleksander Barkov and Dmitry Kulikov each scored goals to push the Florida Panthers past the Montreal Canadiens 4-1 Sunday at BB&T Center.

Sean Bergenheim added an empty-net goal with 17 seconds left and Tom Gilbert had two assists for the Panthers.

The Panthers drew first blood on Kulikov’s goal at 6:10 of the first period during 4-on-4 play.

The Canadiens tied it 1-1 in the second period on Brandon Prust’s goal at 2:56.

Campbell’s shot made it 2-1 in favor of the Panthers.

The lead was stretched to 3-1 on Barkov’s goal. Peter Budaj made 21 saves for the Canadiens.
