Hialeah, FL, United States (4E Sports) – Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig was arrested on Saturday 9:30 a.m. ET in Florida for reckless driving after going at 110 mph while on a section with a 70-mph speed limit.

Florida Highway Patrol spokesman Lt. Greg Bueno said Puig was clocked overspeeding by officers in his 2013 Mercedes going westbound on Alligator Alley, a section of Interstate 75.

Puig was taken to the Collier County Jail for processing.

The 23-year-old Cuba native who lives in the Miami area during the offseason was also arrested in April in Tennessee and charged with reckless driving and speeding after traveling 97 mph in a 50-mph zone.

He was then with the Dodgers’ Double-A Chattanooga affiliate.

Those charges were dropped in November.
