New York, NY, United States (4E Sports) – Russell Westbrook had 14 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists as the Oklahoma City Thunder blasted the New York Knicks 123-94 at Madison Square Garden.
Kevin Durant added 29 points to lead the Thunder in scoring while Serge Ibaka pumped in 24 points on 10-of-14 shooting.
Durant made all five shots in the first quarter as the Thunder shot 70 percent to take a 35-29 lead.
Reggie Jackson and Durant hit 3-pointers to start the second to pad their lead to 41-29.
Ibaka scored six straight points midway through the period as they extended the lead to 52-35.
A Tyson Chandler layup cut the Thunder lead to 60-50 early in the third.
But the Thunder outgunned the Knicks 22-10 in the next eight minutes to take a 82-60 lead.
The Thunder buried the hapless Knicks in the fourth, leading by as a much as 30 on a Jeremy Lamb 3-pointer.
Amar’e Stoudemire scored 22, and Tim Hardaway Jr. had 21 points and J.R. Smith added 20 for the Knicks who missed the services of Carmelo Anthony and Raymond Felton.
