Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E Sports) – DeAndre Jordan had 14 points and 20 rebounds while Blake Griffin had 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a 108-95 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans Wednesday at Staples Center.
Chris Paul added double-double production with 12 points and 11 assists while Jared Dudley had 20 points, Jamal Crawford scored 17 points and Darren Collison added 14 for the Clippers.
The Clippers pulled away in the third with a 15-2 run to lead 70-53.
Anthony Davis scored the Pelicans’ final four points to get New Orleans within78-65 heading into the fourth.
The Clippers enjoyed their biggest lead at 92-73 with 7:41 to go and still led by 18 with less than four minutes left.
Davis led the Pelicans with 24 points and 12 rebounds in his return after missing seven games with a broken left hand.
Ryan Anderson added 17 points, Jrue Holiday had 13 points and 10 assists, and Tyreke Evans had a triple-double of 11 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists after missing the past two games with a sprained left ankle.
