Auburn Hills, MI, United States (4E Sports) – Damian Lillard’s off-balance jumper in overtime pushed the Portland Trail Blazers to a 111-109 win over the Detroit Pistons Sunday at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

LaMarcus Aldridge scored 27 points, Lillard totalled 23 while Nicolas Batum scored 18 points for the Blazers.

Josh Smith led the Pistons in outscoring the Blazers 68-42 in the paint.

A three-point play by Smith gave the Pistons a 75-66 in the third.

The Pistons led by 13 early in the fourth following a Rodney Stuckey jumper. But they limited to just 13 points the rest of the quarter.

Mo William converted two 3-pointers and a layup while Batum added a 3-pointer and another layup as the Blazers cut the Pistons’ lead to 90-86.

It was give-and-take in overtime with no team leading by more than 2 points.

Rodney Stuckey had just tied the game for Pistons in overtime with a shot near the free throw line.

Lillard then rushed down the lane but was blanketed by Stuckey, forcing him to fade to his right for a last-ditch shot.

Smith top scored for the Pistons with 31 points.
