Boston, MA, United States (4E Sports) – Chris Paul had 22 points, nine assists and seven rebounds as Jamal Crawford scored 21 points to power the Los Angeles Clippers over the Boston Celtics 96-88 Wednesday night at TD Garden.
Blake Griffin added 18 points for the Clippers.
The teams exchanged leads in the first three quarters and the score was close throughout except for a bried periof late in the first half when the Clippers led by nine.
The Clippers led throughout the fourth although the Celtics cut the lead to two in four occassions, the last time with less than three minutes left in the game following a layup by Jared Sullinger.
Jeff Green scored 29 points, Jordan Crawford had 20 points and nine assists, and Brandon Bass had 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Celtics.
