Lawrenceville, GA, United States (4E) – Gwinnett County police on Saturday charged with murder the parents of a 10-year-old girl whose burned body was found inside a trash can in a Lawrenceville apartment complex.
Eman and Tiffany Moss were also charged with cruelty to children and concealing a body for the death of Emani Moss. Both are being held at the Gwinnett County Detention Center.
Police found the girl’s body at the Landmark at Coventry Pointe Apartments past 4 a.m. after the father called 911 saying he wanted to commit suicide and his daughter was dead after drinking a type of chemical.
When the police arrived at the apartment, Eman Moss was standing in a breezeway and pointed to a trash can in the recreation area. Inside the trash can, the officers found the girl’s body, which was badly burned.
