They also said LeBron James will capture his second straight MVP and join Michael Jordan and Bill Russell with five, behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar who has six.
Meanwhile, Houston Rockets’ standout James Harden edged out Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant as the top shooting guard.
“They probably took into account that he’s got an Achilles tendon out,” said Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni about Bryant getting displaced for the first time in 12 years.
Orlando Magic’s Victor Oladipo was voted most likely to be rookie of the year.
The Indiana Pacers and San Antonio Spurs tied for second place in voting for most likely team to win it all.
