Miami, FL, United States (4E Sports) – Duke Johnson scored on a one-yard touchdown run with 53 seconds remaining to carry No. 7 Miami (FL) to a 24-21 triumph over Wake Forest for its seventh straight win Saturday at Sun Life Stadium.
Johnson recorded 168 yards from a career-high 30 carries with two touchdowns. He topped 100 yards for the third time this season and seventh in his career as the Hurricanes kept their 7-0 record unblemished.
The Hurricanes are 7-0 (3-0 ACC) for the first time since 2003, remaining one of the 10 unbeaten teams left in major college football.

Josh Harris led Wake Forest rushers with 37 yards on 10 carries, going over 2,000 career yards in the game.
Josh Harris put the Demon Deacons ahead with a 12-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter before Price hooked up with Michael Campanero for a nine-yard touchdown and a 14-3 advantage.
In the closing moments of the first half, Morris went deep and found Herb Waters for a 35-yard touchdown, bringing the Hurricanes to within four at 14-10.
After a scoreless third quarter, Miami took its first lead of the game, 17-14, with 5:36 to play when Johnson rushed for a four-yard touchdown.
Wake Forest answered right back when Dominique Gibson ran 44 yards for his first-career touchdown, giving the Deacons a 21-17 advantage with 4:02 remaining.
