CLEARFIELD – The “Save the Ritz” Committee will have a booth Saturday at the Clearfield Fall Festival in downtown Clearfield. The festival begins at 10 a.m. and lasts until 5 p.m.
In addition, the Fraternal Order of Eagles will have a chicken barbecue from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. It will also have a street dance from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. to benefit the theater.
There are only a limited number of chicken barbecue tickets available. You can order your ticket by calling Pam Babick at 814-762-6430.
Also, on Saturday the Moshannon Valley Paranormal will host the Haunted Tour of the Ritz Theater from 11 p.m. until 1 a.m. Only 30 tickets are being sold; however, a few are still available at the theater.
The “Save the Ritz” Committee will not host a farmers/flea market this Saturday due to its other planned activities.
On Friday, committee members will be outside of the Wal-Mart Supercenter to sell tickets for the chicken barbecue, as well as for the rib dinners at Fat Belly Deli. Clearfield will have its first-ever Double 5K Challenge, “The Bison Stampede and the Run/Walk for the Ritz” will be held on Nov. 9.
You can join the Bison at 9 a.m. at the Clearfield Area High School; then, you can join the Save the Ritz committee at 12 p.m. at the theater. Each race will begin one hour after registration.
