Istanbul, Turkey (4E Sports) – The Thunder already lost starting playmaker Russell Westbrook for the first month or more of the regular season.
Reggie Jackson, who started in place of Westbrook last year in the playoffs and again Saturday, played 23 minutes, making four of six shots for nine points.
Shooting guard Jeremy Lamb also added nine points, Thabo Sefolosha and Derek Fisher had eight apiece while rookie Steven Adams played 15 minutes had seven points and six rebounds.
Bojan Bogdanovic scored 19 points, Bo McCalebb had 13 while Linas Kleiza and Emir Preldzic had nine points each for Fenerbahce, which led by as many as 10 in the first as the Thunder struggled to find the mark.
McCalebb buried back-to-back triples to make it a 20-10 game midway through the first period before the Thunder slowly crawled their way back.
Fenerbahce was leading by 37-28 when Durant scored six points in an 11-0 run to take a 39-37 lead.
The Turkish squad tied it at 42-all behind a triple by Preldzic but the Thunder scored six straight points for a 48-42 lead at the break.
