New York, NY, United States (4E Sports) – Tim Tebow reportedly turned down a request from an NFL team to play a position other than quarterback.
He was released by the New England Patriots Saturday and was approached by the said NFL team and the Canadian Football League.
There was also a tweet from USA Rugby CEO and president Nigel Melville saying the Olympic Rugby door is open for him.
But Tebow has said he will be in “relentless pursuit” of continuing his dream of being an NFL quarterback.
The team that approached Tebow wasn’t identified by a report by Peter King of Sports Illustrated.
As a pro, Tebow completed 47.9 percent (173 of 361) of his passes for 2,422 yards with 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions while rushing for 989 yards and 12 scores.
