Los Angeles, CA, United States (NewsBahn) – The Los Angeles Clippers are reportedly set to sign forward Antawn Jamison to a one-year deal worth the veteran’s minimum.
Jamison played for the Lakers last season, averaging just over nine points and nearly five rebounds per contest.
“I’m just happy to be a Clipper and contend for a championship,” Jamison told ESPNLosAngeles.com.
Jamison dealt with wrist injuries last season but expects to be healthy for the start of the upcoming campaign.
The 37-year-old is within striking distance of 20,000 career points at 19,958 and has averaged double-figures throughout his career.
