PHILIPSBURG – Charges were recently filed against a Philipsburg woman who has been accused of providing her child’s drug-free urine to a government official as though it were her own, reported the Philipsburg-based state police.
Robyn L. Merritt, 38, of Philipsburg is facing charges of corruption of minors, obstructing administration of law or other governmental function, furnishing drug-free urine and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence. She is also facing charges of conspiracy and solicitation on all of the previously listed charges.
Merritt allegedly provided drug-free urine from another person for her urinalysis to a governmental official with Centre County Children & Youth Services on Aug. 26, 2012. It is believed Merritt provided urine from her teenage child, state police said.
