Clear-Penn Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professions (IAAP), met April 24 to celebrate Administrative Professionals Day.
The speaker was Ralph Killmeyer, a manufacturer’s representative from ADMA. He talked about the green products and showed many recycled products.
Many of the items he brought to demonstrate were given away as prizes. In addition, those who attended received many samples of office supplies.
The guests attending were given a brief history of IAAP and the benefits of becoming a member.
The next dinner meeting will be held at 6 p.m. May 14 at the DuBois Business College in DuBois. The speaker will be Maria Carney, CAP-TA-MOS, PA Division President Elect. She’ll present “What Do You See, What Do Others See? Are You the You, You Want to Be?”
Reservations are necessary and can be made by calling Alice at 814-236-2443 or Peggy at 814-765-9526. The deadline is 12 p.m. May 10. Members are encouraged to bring items for the Marion House to this meeting.
Getting involved with IAAP activities provides an opportunity to develop professional and personal skills of leadership, public speaking, meeting planning and networking. All office professionals are welcome attend any meeting.
